I think you are right about 1, 2, and 4. I think reason 2 clinches it. As someone who wants Nick Clegg to resign I think any disagreement about whether he continues as deputy prime minister is not something we are bothered about. Reason 5 does not really count; there is no reason to think anything will get any better if he continues, and no reason to think a new leader will do any worse.
