Here’s today’s hand-picked selection that caught my interest…
- New poll blow for Ed Miliband – Telegraph
I’m still not sure what to make of ICM’s Wisdom poll. But it shows Tories/Lab tied and LDs on 16% so I’ll take it. http://bit.ly/17gJX4j
- Liberal England: The Observer tells only half the story on Sarah Teather
Jonathan Calder points out (accurately) that the Observer tells only half the story on Sarah Teather http://bit.ly/1e3qie8
- Tim Harford — Article — Low pay and the rise of the machines
“Low pay and the rise of the machines” (Or In Praise of… a flexible labour market) http://bit.ly/158oNWt
- Tim Harford — Article — Scarce tactics
Excellent review by @TimHarford of new book, Scarcity, all about the hidden cost of poverty http://bit.ly/15LXtsG
- BBC News – Falkirk vote-rigging row: Labour 'should publish report'
Perhaps I’ve not followed Falkirk closely enough: what was the “key evidence” withdrawn that resulted in all-clear? http://bbc.in/1e1Gblm

Re Falkirk, the “evidence” seems to have been the claims by some Unite members to have been signed up to Labour without their knowledge.
Allegedly, they were persuaded to withdraw their claims as part of a “Peace Deal” intended to avoid arguments at The TUC Conference. The “Deal” seems to have come unstuck almost as soon as it was agreed.

PS When I wrote the above I hadnt seen the new allegations made by The MP in The Guardian, these muddy the water even more.
