Three tweets I wasn’t expecting this weekend: from Prescott, McBride and Watson
by Stephen Tall on February 17, 2013
A trio of tweets I wouldn’t have predicted to be on the receiving end this weekend…
First, John Prescott re-tweets one of the most predictable jokes I’ve ever cracked:
.@mrjohnofarrell I see Maria Hutchings getting mobbed on the streets of Eastleigh twitter.com/stephentall/st… via @stephentall
— John Prescott (@johnprescott) February 16, 2013
Then Gordon Brown’s ex-spinner, the actually very nice Damien McBride, tweets my Friday night whereabouts:
Great evening last night with the excellent @louiseshawld @stephentall & @cllrdaisybenson – the Lib-Lab coalition starts here.
— Damian McBride (@DPMcBride) February 16, 2013
And finally my post, So this is why the Tories have been trying to keep their Eastleigh candidate quiet, receives Tom Watson’s endorsement:
@stephentall @iaindale Hah! Perfectly reasonable to focus on this policy area. He’s playing the central office attack dog again.

For the record, I remain an Orange Book Lib Dem committed to propping up this EVIL Con-Dem Coalition/fascist government.
One comment
Yes – because using Tom Watson as the arbiter of clean campaigning involves no irony whatsoever.
