Quick thoughts on Nick’s speech: 1) Lib Dem 2015 election strategy clear. 100% centrist – fairer than Tories, more responsible than Lab.

2) Announcement of Paddy as 2015 gen election chair clear statement of intent by Nick: “I’m here to stay”. Just as apology was.

3) Media has, again, been surprised by LibDem members’ loyalty. Media also recognising party’s centrist pitch could have appeal in 2015.
