Simon Hughes the choice of 60% of party members to be new Deputy Leader – LDV survey

Simon Hughes has emerged as the clear choice as Deputy Leader in a poll of over 450 party members conducted by Lib Dem Voice over the last five days, reports LDV Co-Editor Stephen Tall.
Simon was the choice of 60%, with Tim Farron securing 40% of the vote. However, one-fifth of members abstained, with many expressing their wish that one of the Lib Dems’ female MPs had put themselves forward.
