Don’t forget, if you’re a party member you can register for the Lib Dem Voice members’ forum. You’ll be in good company: there are 869 registered members, all of whom have the opportunity to read and post on a rich variety of topics which don’t always make it into the public blog, as well as having the chance to vote in LDV’s monthly tracking surveys. Here’s a selection of the currently active threads to whet your appetites:

>> Young Tory expelled from party for Maddy Mcann fancy dress
>> Tesco, Financial Complexity and the Libel Laws
>> Why do we combine the Director of policy and communications?
>> Facebook & Twitter
>> Energy prices
>> Vote for Melanie Phillips
>> Afghanistan. Why are we supporting this?
>> Julia Goldsworthy’s comments on bankruptcy and Council Tax

I would like to know what Goldsworthless thinks should be done to ensure local councils get the money they need as opposed to bleating about those who do not pay.

How on earth did this doofus stay in the shadow cabinet.

Are we still proposing the excellent local income tax as a replacement for the council tax ? It does seem to have gone quiet on that as some felt it was a vote loser. Since when was fairness a vote loser.
