The fun starts now!

It was what our American friends call a “no brainer” that Lib Dems would support Bayrou (ignoring, as I presume they are, his fondness for farm subsidies).

The real question is, how would they choose between an un-reconstructed socialist and a right-wing moderniser who wants to free the economy but toughen up immigraiton laws?

Let the battle – and a new poll – commence.
